One of the best things about living in Fort Benning is that Columbus is just off post. Even though it is a pretty large city, it still has that small town feel. Riverfest was this weekend and it was a blast. Sidewalk chalk art was everywhere, live bands were set up along the riverwalk, and the Chattahoochie River was filled with dragonboat races! Even though it was overcast, it was a fun date.

| My handsome husband won a dinosaur toy throwing darts at balloons in the classic carnival style game. I think this redeems him from the disastrous attempt in Santa Cruz last year! |
